Promoting Wellness and Community: St. Francis Hosts 47th Annual Family Health & Safety Fair

Brant Beach, NJ — The St. Francis Community Center is once again proud to host its highly anticipated Family Health & Safety Fair on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Celebrating 47 years of promoting good health and community support, this free event offers a wide range of health screenings, educational resources, and safety demonstrations for individuals and families of all ages.

Held at the St. Francis Community Center, located at 4700 Long Beach Blvd., Brant Beach, the fair serves as a vital hub for local residents to connect with healthcare providers, public safety organizations, and social service agencies—all in one welcoming space.

A Day Dedicated to Wellness

The fair features an impressive lineup of free health screenings, including:

  • Vision, blood pressure, and blood sugar checks

  • Cholesterol and stroke risk evaluations

  • Dental and skin cancer screenings

  • Balance assessments and trauma education

  • Pharmaceutical medication and interaction checks (attendees are encouraged to bring their current medications and supplements)

  • AED and CPR demonstrations

  • Fit Kit distribution

  • And much more!

More Than Screenings

Beyond medical testing, attendees can receive valuable information on senior services, NJ Family Care, alternative medicine, fitness and family services, counseling, financial health, volunteering, and legal support. The event emphasizes the importance of preventive care and accessible wellness education for all members of the community.

  • Long Beach Island Health Department

  • Long Beach Township Police Department – featuring a Project Medicine Drop Box

  • Long Beach Township Beach Patrol – offering safety demonstrations
