Education Support Services Program provides free Adult Education classes throughout Ocean County.

Registration is required.


Adult Basic Skills Consortium of Ocean County offers Adult Basic Skills (ABE), Adult Secondary Education (ASE) and English Language Acquisition (ELA).

Fall and Winter classes are offered at the following locations:

Southern Regional High School – 600 Main Street, Manahawkin, NJ
Holy Family Church – 1139 E. Countyline Road, Lakewood, NJ
Toms River North High School at 6:00 PM – 1245 Old Freehold Road, Toms River, NJ
Lakewood Library – 301 Lexington Ave., Lakewood, NJ

Classes are subject to change.

Program offers college and career readiness skills, assist students interested in post-secondary education or training, obtain citizenship skills and resources to enter and/or retain employment.

All classes and services are provided by the Ocean County Basic Skills Consortium through a grant from the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development.

Adult Education & CWEP Program
Eligible participants can receive individualized educational and job readiness plans. Program has been designed to assist participants increase their educational levels to enter training, obtain High School Diploma and career/job skills to achieve self-sufficiency.

All participants must be verified for eligibility through the Ocean Count PIC Office.

Programs funded by the County of Ocean though Ocean County PIC.
